Pork & Shrimp Gyoza
YouTube personality Grace Helbig and comedian Brooks Wheelan pop into the kitchen for gyoza, sake bombs, and pressing questions. Bert surprises everyone with crispy pan-fried pork and shrimp dumplings.

Ingredients
- Napa cabbage
- 2 tsp salt
- Shrimp
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 5 green onions
- 5 pounds ground pork
- 2 tsp sugar
- Dumpling wrappers
- ½ cup water
- Vegetable oil
- Cheesecloth
Steps
- Finely shred the cabbage and sprinkle with salt. Using cheesecloth, wring out the excess liquid from the cabbage.
- Cut up the shrimp.
- Mince the garlic, ginger, and green onions.
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix.
- Place 1 tsp–2 tbsp of filling into a wrapper, dip a fingertip in water, and moisten the edge of the wrapper to fold and form the dumpling.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the gyoza.
- Steam the gyoza by adding ½ cup water to the pan and covering with a lid.
- Double-fry by removing the lid and cooking until crisp again on the bottom.
