Fry Bread Tacos

Theo Von and Andrew Santino join Bert Kreischer in the kitchen to whip up some authentic Fry Bread Tacos featuring ground bison and a sweet dessert variation.
Fry Bread Tacos
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- Large can of Crisco
- 1 TBS baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cup warm water
- 1 onion, chopped
- Ground bison
- Taco seasoning
- Can of green chiles
- Beans
- Hot sauce
- Cheese
Steps
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and slowly mix in water.
- Knead the dough, then let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat Crisco in a big pot to 350 degrees.
- Sauté onions. Then add bison meat and taco seasoning. Add green chiles and continue cooking.
- Create tortillas and fry in Crisco until golden brown.
- Create tacos with meat and toppings of your choice.
